Right after our pro exam in June, we'll be having around roughly a month of break. 2 weeks of the break will be used to do our non-clinical Elective 1 posting. And so after a briefing given by the course coordinator just now, we've to decide on what to do during those 2 weeks and submit our chosen topic in 2 weeks time. And a proposal by Jan 31st. After the posting, we've to submit a report plus a poster o.o" and present to the lecturers afterwards. Waddafish. Proposal-writing is easy. But the topic-choosing-thingy is the hard part.
We've to submit 2 topics. 1 main topic and 1 for backup purposes.
Torn between: - Horse-riding lesson. It's been my lifelong dream to like, learn the proper way to ride (without falling and killing my spine) a horsey. - Archery. - Learn a language. - Piano lesson ♥ - Volunteer at SPCA *meows* - Learn how to bake like a pro. BAKE. Not cook. - Proper swimming lesson? I knw how to swim already. Scuba diving? - Get married and write a report on 1001 different positions... Nvm. - Photography. I can steal borrow my bro's pro cam. Hmm... - What else?
Any suggestions on what I should do for my elective? I've to finish the elective course in 2 weeks time during the holiday, write a report and submit. 2 credit hours. Must be something non-clinical.
Too many options @_@
This week's agenda Tuesday: Class + PBL Wednesday: Study for finals + practice OSCE to death. Thursday: OSCE. Friday: Finals. Saturday: The beginning of my reign of terror of Urinary System block. Muahaha~ All hail *me*, the block leader *inserts evil laughter*
Oh yeah, last week, the whole week I craved for pulut kuning (Yellow coloured sticky rice, don't tell me you've never eaten it before 8D). I called my mum on Monday night and almost everyday after that to tell her that I really want it. Yesterday, I finally got my wish. My mum wanted to make it from scratch but my dad decided to go and find it. Sangat terharu they were willing to actually go and look for it, just because I was craving (very badly) for it -_- What a daughter. THANKS MAMA AND ABAH ♥
I want sushi. Oh wait, I did have it last week on Wednesday. Had to rush to buy it after CST because I was craving for pulut (Sushi has sticky rice kan?). RM30 for me alone. Wtf.
Yesterday we've 160 more days left to our very first Profession Exam. Today we've 1 day less. Suddenly demam pro la kan.
11th June (Friday) - SAQ 14th June (Monday) - OSPE 15th June (Tuesday) - MCQ / EMQ 16th June (Wednesday) - OSCE 17th June (Thursday)- Result
Anyway. Let's run away from this whole scary-life-changing-exam for a while.
Take a look at this and I'm sure you'll say that the guy, regardless whether you're a guy or a girl, is a plain moron 8D
Have a nice weekend y'all :)
P/s: I'm broke. I bought a PSP Dynasty Warrior (Vol 2) game for bloody RM150. If I keep buying more PSP games, I can easily buy another bloody PSP with the same amount of money spent to just buy the bloody games! Sadly it's hard/very risky to hack a bloody PSP 3000. Gg (Good game)! -_-"
Suddenly I feel like I have a lot of responsibilities.
Is this how my housemate, Nab, who's constantly busy since first year, has been feeling all these times?
Looking at the countdown board that Fifa (and I *coughs*) have made last night, we've roughly around 146 days left to our very first Professional Exam. The exam that will determine whether we are eligible to be promoted to the 3rd year and officially become a clinical Medical student.
I suddenly feel like time is running out.
I just had a YM (Young Mercy) meeting just now. Now that we're aiming to make it an official NGO and register it as one (Soon), we've so many things to do. I'm under Research Team of CURE (CUCMS Unit of Relief and Emergency) and with due date(s) looming around, I've to keep track of what to do without giving in to the temptation of procrastination.
Last night and this afternoon, a PPIM (Persatuan Perubatan Islam Malaysia) meeting that I was in opened my eyes to more responsibilities. I'm placed under the Activities Bureau (Under the leadership of Harith/Nab - Crazy babunic pair).
Semua keje/jawatan tu amanah. Tak boleh main-main. I chose to say yes. I chose to be in this situation. And I know Allah will always be there to help and guide me through this.
Today we learnt about contraception & HRT (Hormone replacement treatment). And we (I) have come into conclusion that:
If you (female) don't want to get pregnant, you should:
Get your husband to use a bloody condom. Not only it has a low percentage of failure if used properly, it can also protect you from STDs that your partner/husband may have or protect him from STDs that you may have.
In response to point #1, get your ass and your husband/partner's ass tested first before consummating your marrriage/relationship or even before you get married in the first place (Be aware that HIV test is mandatory before getting married).
In response to point #2, make sure your husband/partner or you don't cheat on each other with other people without protecting yourself as both of you may infect each other and sue each other in court for a divorce (an of course, if you didn't sign a prenup, say goodbye/hello to your money $_$) after waking up with rashes on your genitals.
Not rely on the withdrawal method as guys are just not reliable. Seriously, who would rather shoot outside than inside? Lalala...
Use OCPs (Oral contraceptive pills) as they don't interrupt love-making (Quoting the slides given by my lecturer)
Injection contraceptive can lead to amenorrhea (absence of menstruation) for up to a year if your uterus decides to teach you a lesson.
Use female condom if your no-good husband/partner refuses to use condoms made for their species.
Stay away from IUDs unless you plan to kill your uterus, regardless whether it's plastic or copper, it's just not worth it.
Get your uterus out from your body if you don't want to have anymore kids because IUD stinks.
Not opt for female sterilization (removal/ligation of the Fallopian tubes) without getting your husband/partner to do vasectomy on the same day. Make sure you both sign black and white so that he won't go and use your inability to give him more kids as an excuse to cheat on you and screw another person.
The best way to avoid yourself from getting pregnant is... TO ABSTAIN FROM SEX. Easy ait? :D
Don't make love if you don't want to make babies and become responsible parents.
P/s: For the first time I managed to take up the challenge of not studying at all for a Physiology exam (2nd week assessment) and I got a 70% for it -___-" Sedih betul.
